Like other hospitality venues, Urban Alley Brewery was essentially shut down, so we had to innovate. We suddenly had no revenue streams at all! We had to implement something to keep our staff employed.

Not wanting to give up, our managing director Dean Grant looked to explore what other opportunities were available, other than the home delivery of our beers, to maintain cash flow into the business.

Urban Alley is situated underneath the wheel at District Docklands since September 2018. We specialise in brewing craft beer into kegs & cans and were the first to introduce E6PR biodegradable 6 pack holders in Australia and fifth in the world. We pride ourselves on being locally owned and made and producing very high-quality craft beer and now Hand Sanitiser.

Our Hand To help meet the overwhelming demand within the community for Hand Sanitiser, our Head brewer, working with a development team, developed a hand sanitiser formula that included our Hop Oil.

We were pretty excited so Dean, along with the assistance of his management team, were able to secure ongoing production of large quantities of Hand Sanitiser, all Australian made and owned. This has resulted in Urban Alley being able to keep our wonderful staff employed!

We have 2 hand sanitisers available, a 300ml Liquid Hand Sanitiser with Hop Oil & a 550ml Gel Hand Sanitiser, both are 70% ethanol.

We are very proud to say our product is 100% Australian made and owned generating in excess of 100 jobs throughout the whole supply chain.
